Yeah, I'm definitely going to watch the reviews for that one closely. My worry is that it'll get boring with how little player-player interaction there will be in that big ole universe. With all that space, it will likely be months or years between actually coming across another player.

I thought it was intended as a single player game, with interactions (if any) limited to seeing who discovered stuff.

I'll be watching the reviews too, just to make sure it doesn't suck.

I can't wait. You know what else I can't wait for? The PS4 VR set in October.

Anyone played No Man's Sky yet? I watched someone play it on Twitch the other day and it looked pretty good.

I'm debating on getting a PS4 just for that game. I've never played a game on PC, nor do I have one capable of playing. MLB The Show is on PS4 too, so there's that.

I got it, it's incredible.

Just the idea of "your ship is crashed and you're on your own" to start was almost overwhelming. Now that I understand the exploring component of the game I have to go back to that planet and start cataloging shit.

Reallllly?

Because most of the reviews I've seen range from "slightly above average" to "unplayable". Most people are saying it's a colossal disappointment.

And s3c, the appeal for the game (to me) is that there's not a lot of hand-holding and very minimal direction, so you're basically on your own. I like that there's no intensive walk-through, it's like the "first quest" - figure shit out.

People claiming colossal disappointment were likely the same people sending death threats to the developers over delayed release, and had over-hyped the game entirely to begin with.

Mind you, I'm also really looking forward to Skyrim Remastered so I'm probably pretty easy to please.

So there is no player interaction in the game. Reports say that two guys tried it and couldn't see each other. Might be a server issue but unlikely. Not a surprise though it wasn't billed as multi player.

I had to restart I screwed up and claimed an abandoned ship without a hyperdrive.

Also the Ancient Gek sound like they were a bunch of love boxes.
