Haha, relax little one. I was asking the significance, assuming there was one. Not saying that I think there's nothing great about it.

It also would be a sarcastic comment triggered by this times article. The polarbears was just about the only stereotype missing and if I dislike something it is stereotypes... (when not about people from Sweden or Tampere...)

And then on topic:
Got my scanner finally working. These are nature photographs for a school art project of mine, taken last summer

Bump!

Just a few of the shots that I took on the wedding I did on New Years' Eve...

Heh heh. I got the couple all posed under a tree covered in heavy hoar frost, and when they were least expecting it, I tossed my coat (a very heavy leather jacket) at the tree, knocking all the frost out of the tree. And onto them. :D It was funny as hell:

These men are concreting solid steel pillars to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a sports bar downtown Vancouver. They are cleaning up at the end of the day.

How long do you think it will be before they realize where their vehicle is parked?

Although that pic is rumoured to be photoshopped, it's also fairly common for those posts to be easily removable in the event of fire or emergency.

If they're set in concrete, the only way to remove them in an emergency is to hit them with a rather large fire truck.

Of course, if they have screw in bases, they'd still have to wait for the concrete to set before unscrewing them. Which would only leave the van overnight, so if they had a ride they wouldn't be screwed themselves.
