[fieldset="SCORING"]
FIRST PERIOD
STK Grant, (1) (Elson, Poirier), 4:22
STK Arnold, (1) (Nakladal, Agostino), 8:08 (PP)

STK Kylington, (1) (Granlund, Sieloff), 14:35

SECOND PERIOD
STK Nakladal, (1) (Agostino, Granlund), 0:39
This goal was very clearly scored by Drew Shore on a pass from Wotherspoon, who got the puck from Agostino. Heat PBP man Brandon Kisker made the same observation. I expect the scoring to be changed as such.

[fieldset="FACEOFFS"]
These are unofficial, tracked by me as I watched.There may be errors as it is not uncommon for the faceoff not to be shown by in rink cameras, in these situations I used common sense and gave the win to the centerman of the team with possession.

Turner Elson 1/1 (100.00%)
Freddie Hamilton 9/13 (69.23%)
Bill Arnold 5/8 (62.50%)
Derek Grant 6/13 (46.15%)
Markus Granlund 4/9 (44.44%)
Drew Shore 0/1 (0.00%)

TEAM TOTALS 25/45 (55.56%)

[fieldset="NOTES"]
Jon Gillies
A no-goals-allowed-game in his first professional game. He made 19 saves but I only counted 2 scoring chances for Rockford the entire game and only one of those resulted in an unlikely save. He was in great position all night and didn't seem shaky at all.

Kenny Agostino & Markus Granlund
They needed to be mentioned together, they were magic all night, usually together but sometimes apart too.

Jakub Nakladal
He was the best player on the ice for either team tonight. I knew he had a big shot, but I did not realize how good he was at getting it through traffic. Both of his PP assists were deflections off his point shot. He also hit a crossbar and had 3 other shots on goal.

Turner Elson
The Kid was the hardest working guy out there, the first goal was a result of him stripping the defenseman in the RW faceoff circle, making a quick pass to Poirier who was just coming back into the zone, which Poirier fed back to Elson, only to have him complete a behind the back pass to Grant for an easy goal.

Derek Grant
Scored two goals and played well in both ends of the rink, he also played on the top PK unit and the 2nd PP unit.

Oliver Kylington Really showed off his skating ability, he created a scoring chance in the first when he got the puck at just inside the offensive blueline and walked around the forward pressuring him as if the guy couldn't even see him. His goal was off a good pinch when Granlund fed an open Kylington and Oliver with a great snap shot went top shelf. I noticed no glaring errors.

Freddie Hamilton
Easily the best faceoff guy for the Heat, plays a quiet defensive game, skates really well and is not inept offensively. I only noticed one glaring mistake and that was a giveaway that turned into Rockford's first scoring chance.

Emile Poirier
Overall he had a really good game, but disciple and bad penalties have always been an issue. This continued tonight when took took a holding penalty in the offensive zone during the first period.

Tyler Wotherspoon
Played a pretty quiet game, set up Shore's goal (the goal was given to Nakladal and assist to Granlund), I saw him throw a couple hits and getting physically involved around the Heat net.

Patrick Sieloff & Dustin Stevenson
Both these blueliners had a good game at getting in shooting lanes and blocking shots.

100TG'S THREE STARS

See, I get that I could have googled the answer and saved Luna the work, but I actually cared so little about the answer that I decided to leave it alone.

I knew it was in California and somewhere near San Francisco. That's about it.
