If he did come back, and all was well, providing we make it out of round 1, he'd be a huge psychological boast on top of the skill added.

I support the idea of psychological warfare used to crush our enemies and march onward to final victory.

Ramo & Byron both skating at practice this morning.

Monahan has been reported to leave practice early, hopefully because he has the shits or something and not necessarily injured.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley says Monahan leaving was all part of the plan. Part of getting him rest. Going with the "everyone is a game time decision." #Flames

Monahan said he had no injuries, just the typical bumps and bruises. But when pressed, he let it go that he suffered a leg injury towards the end of the regular season that carried into the playoffs.

Randy Sportak @SUNRandySportak
#Flames Sean Monahan said he didn’t suffer an injury during the playoffs. On second attempt, admitted his leg was hurt in the stretch drive.

Brodie suffered and ankle injury as well, since the Boston game.

Treliving confirms Brodie's injury.
Confirms Hudler's injury, neck related.
States Jooris had a wrist injury.
Colborne thumb and hand.
Schlemko injured groin.
He says Monahan had some groin and back injuries.

Also, Ferland's injury was oblique related.

Hudler had a back injury too.

Ferland's was a torn oblique, suffered game 4 of Vancouver series.

Bouma required surgery to fix a broken finger, included metal plate and a number of screws.

Ah, so there were several zombies out there. Story of the playoffs. If a team doesn't have players playing through injuries, they're doing it wrong. Kudos to Hudler for playing through a back injury. I've had my share of back problems and I've barely been able to function, let alone score goals in the playoffs.

And we begin anew.

Brodie dead. Broken hand, no surgery necessary, 3-6 weeks.

All is lost.
